Self-Help and the Law of Attraction

I am a self-help advocate, as many of you already know. It is important to improve your mental, physical and spiritual abilities in order to learn and grow as a human being. I think a lot of people shy away from the term “self-help” because it has a negative connotation, but I want to dispel this myth because there is nothing negative about changing, growing and improving your life.

In our book, You Can Attract It!, which I co-wrote with Steve G. Jones, we outline steps on how to use the Law of Attraction to get what you want. We talk about how you can attract anything from a more positive attitude to a shiny new car. Many people use the Law of Attraction to improve themselves.

Self-help includes a vast array of topics. Some people want to improve their anger, assertiveness, confidence, motivation, habits, body image, or mindset. The list goes on because everyone is different and everyone has something they wish to improve upon.

If you have not yet used the Law of Attraction to improve yourself, then I hope this article has helped you see the many benefits of incorporating it into your life. You can take control of so many aspects of your life. There is no point in waiting to become your best!


Black Friday and the Law of Attraction

Black Friday Shopping

Black Friday in the United States is today. It’s the day after Thanksgiving and marks the beginning of holiday shopping. Many stores offer promotional sales and open their doors very early.

When buying gifts for the holiday season, it’s important to keep the holiday spirit in mind. There are positive and negative aspects to Black Friday. The positives include great deals, getting shopping done early in the season, and time to think about others. The negative aspects include traffic jams, waiting in line, and the day can be stressful.

If you are shopping today, I want to encourage you to keep a positive attitude. Don’t let stress, aggression, or road rage take over. Instead, focus on the idea of giving and be thankful for the good deals you are receiving.

The Law of Attraction is all about focusing on the positive. When you focus on enjoying yourself and giving to others, good things will come into your life. Use today as the beginning of the Holiday season, to be thankful for what you have and get into the Holiday spirit!!

Stop Complaining!

No Complaints

Have you ever met someone who is constantly complaining about the things occurring in their life? Maybe it’s a friend, family member, or co-worker, but it’s hard to avoid their negativity. The reason why unfortunate things keep happening to them is because they keep complaining!

Complaints attract more negativity into your life, so it is important that you stop complaining. I want to encourage you to become more aware of when you are complaining. Because once you realize it’s a problem, you can focus on looking at the positive side.

Trust me on this: there is a positive side to everything. Instead of complaining when hitting traffic, think to yourself, at least I wasn’t involved in the accident that caused the traffic. Try to look on the bright side of every situation. Soon, you will see major changes in your attitude and what you are able to attract into your life.

Focusing on the positive and removing complaints from your life is a big step in the Law of Attraction. You are in control of your path in life and you can choose your experiences.

Know What You Do Not Want

People often ask us why Step Two in our book is so important. Step Two is Knowing What you do not Want. For a lot of people, step two is a moment when they realize why so many negative things are occurring in their lives. We wanted to convey that you are completely in charge of what you attract into your life whether it’s positive or negative.

Let’s look at an example. Let’s say that you don’t want to be struggling to pay your bills. This is something that you do not want to attract into your life. During step two, you will explore how your are attracting this negativity into your life. We show you different things to consider in your outlook.

You will be able to change the negative things that are attracting negativity into your life, into positive things to attract positive change into your life. Whatever is going wrong for you in your life, this is the step that will help you realize why you are attracting negativity and it will open doors for you to make changes.

The Law of Attraction is a powerful process and we know that step two will help open your eyes to the possibilities of attraction and change. No matter what negative things are occurring in your life, this step will help you look at it in a different way so that you can focus your energy on making positive changes.

Positive Thoughts, Emotions, and Actions

In step one of our book, You Can Attract It, we talk about just how powerful it is to have positive thoughts, feelings, and actions with the Law of Attraction. I have been using the Law of Attraction for years and I realized that a positive attitude provides a strong base to attract what you want.

Your thoughts have a major impact on how you view the world around you. Negative thoughts attract more negativity into your life. Changing negative thoughts into positive thoughts shows the universe that you are serious about using the Law of Attraction and that you want change in your life.

Just as important as your thoughts are your feelings. When you feel confident, positive, and strong, you are putting powerful energy out there for the universe. When you have positive emotions, you are going to attract wonderful things into your life.

And just as important as your thoughts and feelings, are your actions. What you do and how you behave influence what you can attract with the Law of Attraction. Eliminating angry outbursts and replacing it with calm and peaceful actions says a lot. Not only will you feel better, but the universe will reward you for your positive behavior.

There are so many tools out there that you can use for self-help and self-improvement and the Law of Attraction is one of them! I am a strong believer in self-help. Everyone experiences challenges during their life and sometimes we need a little boost to help us through.

No matter what you want to improve: health, time management, anger, stress levels, etc. you can use the Law of Attraction to attract self-improvement. You are in control of the changes you want to make in your life. The hard part is making the change, but you can do so much faster when you use the Law of Attraction.

When you visualize positive change in your life, you will attract it into your life. You should be your number one priority. Focus on attracting positive thoughts and feelings into your life. When you promote positive change in your life, you create powerful energy for the universe and the universe will help you attract improvement in your life.

Complaint-Free Holiday

I hope you had a happy and festive 4th of July weekend! Many of you probably have today off from work. It’s a great time to spend with friends and family, appreciating the freedom we have in this country and being thankful for what you have.

I want to encourage you to make today a complaint-free holiday. Meaning, be positive all day long. Get rid of all negative thoughts, feelings, and actions. You will find much more enjoyment if you have nothing to complain about.

Complaint-free holidays are a great way to use the Law of Attraction. The universe will help you attract more positive thoughts and emotions by eliminating negative ones. The more often you incorporate complaint-free holidays into your life, the easier it will be and more rewarding it will be.

New Start

I like to mark Memorial Day as a new start. In many ways it signals the start of summer. It’s warmer outside, school is out or almost out, and it’s a great time to make changes in your life. If you have been putting goals on the back burner, now is the perfect time to re-focus your direction.

Whether you want to jump start a new workout routine, set business plans in place, or get a new job, this is a great time to attract it into your life. There is no better time than right now! You don’t need to put things off any longer because you can use the Law of Attraction to attract it into your life right now.

If a new start is what you want, then start today! Take action now so that you are one step closer to reaching your goal. If you want to exercise consistently, then go outside right now for a walk. If you want to attract a new job in your life, then send your resume out to 10 places today.

A positive attitude will carry you to great places in your life. The Law of Attraction will help you get what you want so that you can live the abundant life you have been dreaming about.

Positive Thinking

I think it is that time again… to have a complaint-free holiday. A complaint-free holiday is when you vow to not complain about anything for an entire day. This is a powerful exercise that will help you attract wonderful things in your life with the Law of Attraction.

A complaint-free holiday will make you more aware of your positive and negative thoughts. It’s important to not only control your complaints, but to be more aware of the negative thoughts that go through your head. The act of changing a negative thought into a positive one is a powerful part of the Law of Attraction.

When you change a negative thought into a positive thought, you will create powerful and positive energy that tells the universe you are committed to making change in your life.

Pick a day this week and focus on being positive without any complaints. You may find that it is difficult, but that is okay. The more complaint-free holidays you have, the better you will get and more energy you will be putting out to the universe.

Reach your Dreams

Do you have a dream or a major goal that you have been wanting to accomplish? Perhaps it is something you have been working on for a long time or maybe it is something you haven’t had the guts to attempt. Whatever your goal is, large or small, you can accomplish it with the Law of Attraction. The reason why I am so sure you can attract it is because I have been in your shoes and I was able to attract wonderful things into my life.

My major goal was to follow my passion, work for myself, and be successful at it. I am now living my dream, in a large part thanks to the Law of Attraction. Since my goal was so big, it took years to accomplish, but if I learned one thing from the experience, it was to be patient.

No matter what your major life goal is, realize that you are a powerful individual and you can achieve it. Do not expect it to happen overnight. For some people it does, but for many people (myself included), it simply takes time. Never lose sight of asking for what you want. Being a positive person and working toward making positive changes in your life will help you reach your ultimate goal.

Allow wonderful things to happen to you in your life. Embrace change and change will occur in your life. The Law of Attraction is powerful and it works!
