Self-Help

I am a self-help advocate, as many of you already know. It is important to improve your mental, physical and spiritual abilities in order to learn and grow as a human being. I think a lot of people shy away from the term “self-help” because it has a negative connotation, but I want to dispel this myth because there is nothing negative about changing, growing and improving your life.

In our book, You Can Attract It!, which I co-wrote with Steve G. Jones, we outline steps on how to use the Law of Attraction to get what you want. We talk about how you can attract anything from a more positive attitude to a shiny new car. Many people use the Law of Attraction to improve themselves.

Self-help includes a vast array of topics. Some people want to improve their anger, assertiveness, confidence, motivation, habits, body image, or mindset. The list goes on because everyone is different and everyone has something they wish to improve upon.

If you have not yet used the Law of Attraction to improve yourself, then I hope this article has helped you see the many benefits of incorporating it into your life. You can take control of so many aspects of your life. There is no point in waiting to become your best!

Accepting Change

For many people, change is difficult and it can be challenging accepting change into your life. However, change is often a good thing and you become a stronger person because of it. No matter what kind of change you want to attract into your life, realize that it will be better once you accept the change.

Many people come to me wanting advice on how to change their health habits. This usually involves changes in eating, physical activity, time management and even your mindset. Wrapping your brain around change can be challenging, but the result of change is very rewarding.

I like to encourage people to make many small changes gradually, instead of focusing on one major change all at once. This allows people to adapt and accept change in a healthier way. You should make small goals and accept change frequently so that you get used to making changes.

The Law of Attraction is a great way to change your mindset to attract change. You deserve to grow as a person because you have the ability to achieve great things in your life!

Establishing an Exercise Routine

Exercise

As cold weather rips through most of the nation, you may find it difficult to stick with your exercise routine. I don’t want you to lose motivation now! There are plenty of tools you can use to help you stick with your exercise goals, including the Law of Attraction.

I like to have different exercises planned for different weather conditions, so that I never have an excuse to not workout. I then visualize myself doing these workouts and feeling good about doing them.

I have 3 locations where I workout: the gym, outside, and in my home. When it’s nice outside, I like to go for walks or ride a bike. When it’s cold, I go to the gym. And if it’s snowing or if I’m strapped for time, I exercise in my house. Even if I only have 20 minutes, I can get a good workout in.

I am a firm believer in using the Law of Attraction for exercise. The more frequently I exercise, the more I like it. It’s the time during my day where I can focus on improving my health and attracting energy into my life. I hope that this post has encouraged you to be active today!

Positive Body Language

The great thing about the Law of Attraction is that there are an unlimited number of tools and techniques you can use to help manifest wonderful things into your life. One of these tools is your body language. Your body language tells the universe how you feel.

You always want to put forward positive energy and vibrations. Positive body language will help you do this. When you make the conscious decision to not only have a positive body image, but promote that through your body language, you are telling the universe that you want to create positive things in your life.

Positive body language includes sitting and standing up tall, keeping your arms un-crossed, making eye contact with others, and holding your head high with confidence. Not only will you be giving off positive energy, but you will feel better about yourself and you will create unlimited confidence in your life.

I hope I have helped you realize how you can improve your life with the Law of Attraction and body language. Go ahead and make changes in your life right now! You will feel better and gain confidence!

The Definition of Success

Success

What is success? The dictionary defines it as a favorable or desired outcome. In other words, it is very vague. You must define your own success if you want to be successful. You must first ask yourself these general questions:

In what areas do I want to strive for success?
How will I know that I have reached success?

Make sure your definition includes who, what, when, why, where, and how. The more detailed you are, the more clear your goals will be.

Also, make sure your goals are attainable and measurable. Perhaps your long-term goal is to be a millionaire. If this is going to take you 5 years, then where do you want to be 1 year from now?

It is important that you make clear goals and define your success. No one can do this for you because you are the only person who can feel successful. Using the Law of Attraction will help you manifest success into your life. You can visualize it, ask for it, and make changes in your life that contribute to reaching your goals!

Finding Meaning in Life

Meaning in Life

Let’s face it, we all have a lot of responsibilities. And these responsibilities often take up all of our time, including any free time. This makes it difficult to partake in rewarding and meaningful experiences in life. However, you can use the Law of Attraction to find meaning in your life and to add new experiences.

The Law of Attraction is the idea that what you focus your intentions on will manifest into your life. It sounds hard to believe. How does wanting something evolve into creating something in my life?

Reaching goals and manifesting things in your life is more than taking action. It involves conscious and subconscious thoughts and emotions. And guess what? You have complete control over your thoughts and emotions. When you think positively, positive things will occur in your life.

I know the Law of Attraction works because I wouldn’t be where I am today if it weren’t for the Law of Attraction. I have completely changed my thought process now so that I very rarely have a negative thought. It has helped me find meaning in my life and I feel very satisfied by where I am in my life right now.

Enjoy Exercising

Exercise

Exercising is an important part of life. If you look back 100 years ago, people had to work hard to get their food either by hunting or working the land. They didn’t have the common luxuries that we take advantage of today. They also didn’t have as many processed foods or fast food restaurants.  With changes in our physical activity and eating habits, makes regular exercise a very important part of our daily routine.

With the approval from your doctor you should aim to get exercise most days of the week. The benefits of exercise are numerous including improving overall health, blood pressure, cholesterol, body image, energy, and stress levels.

If you want to enjoy exercising, you can use the Law of Attraction to help you make it a part of your life… and enjoy it! You can ask the universe to make exercise fun for you. When you exercise, keep a positive attitude because the universe will help you enjoy it more when you create positive energy.

There are many different forms of exercise and you can start out small and slowly increase your time. Go ahead and get 20 minutes of exercise today. You’ll be glad you did!

Is the Law of Attraction Working?

Law of Attraction

Oftentimes, people ask how they will know when the Law of Attraction is working in their life. Everyone is going to have a different experience with the Law of Attraction, but it will be a positive one. In our book, You Can Attract It, Steve and I outline 6 important steps on attracting things into your life. With each step, you will notice changes:

Step One: Changing Negative Powers to Positive Powers, enables you to prepare a strong foundation for the Law of Attraction. Your ‘powers’ are your thoughts, emotions, and actions. During this step you should notice that you have a different and more positive outlook on your life.

Step Two: Know What You Do Not Want, enables you to acknowledge what is not working for you in your life. This step is often powerful because people realize that their negative thoughts and actions have created negative life experiences.

Step Three: Know What You Do Want, enables you to realize what you truly want to create in your life.

Step Four: Ask For It, during this step a lot of people will start to notices changes in their life. By simply asking for something, some people begin manifesting it right away. You might receive something smaller than what you are asking for. For example if you are asking for $100,000, this is the step that will help you get the ball rolling, so to speak.

Step Five: Allow It, for those people who have not begun to attract anything into their life, this step will fix that problem. Allowing good things into your life enables you to attract and receive.

Step Six: Receive It, this step may take days or years. If you ask for $100,000, you may receive it in the form of a promotion, raise, new business venture, or many other ways. The different ways in manifesting things into your life is limitless, but you will know when you have received it because you asked for specific things.

Hope for Change

One of our customers who has read our book and has been using the Law of Attraction for a few months sent me an email the other day. I want to share it with you to show you that just how powerful the Law of Attraction is.

I am writing this email to tell you my success story with your book. I first learned about the book after seeing Steve on a morning show here in Charlotte. He inspired me to take action in my life and the first thing I did was buy the book.

I absorbed the book like a sponge, I read it in a couple of days and immediately started using your exercises and techniques. I then frequently went back to pages that I had marked as especially important in my life. I was out of work for 8 months and it was starting to wreak havoc on all areas of my life.

I was so focused on the negative aspects of not having a job, that it was causing me to be immobile. I gained motivation to go into work for myself, time and hard work are my strengths, so I decided to take advantage of that.

Attracting a Job

Job

As of May 2010 the U.S. unemployment rate is 9.3%.  Although this number is tough to swallow, 90.7% of Americans are employed. If you are unemployed, it is important for you to focus on the positive. There is a lot of negativity in the press, but the good news is that there are jobs out there!

Even though economic times are not ideal right now, you can use the Law of Attraction to find a job. Focus on your strengths and be on the lookout for positions that are a good fit for you. Ask friends and contacts to keep their eyes open for available jobs.

Visualization is very powerful. Imagine yourself at the job you want. See yourself having a great interview and getting the job. Visualize yourself going to work and enjoying what you do. This exercise will tell the universe that you want to attract a job and the universe will help you get one.

Remember to focus on the positive at all times. There are a lot of opportunities out there for you. Using the Law of Attraction will help you get the job you want.
