Motivating Yourself Using The Law of Attraction

Motivation

Motivation is such an important aspect of all of our lives. Sometimes we need motivation for small things such as a house repair and sometimes we need motivation for big life goals such as a career change. No matter how big or small the task is, motivation is needed to get things done. You can attract  motivation with the Law of Attraction.

For years, I have been using a particular exercise in my life to help attract motivation. It is a 3-step visualization process.

  1. I first see myself as motivated. I see myself having the energy and drive in preparation to complete the task. I also feel those emotions related to feeling motivated; I feel confident that I can meet my goals.
  2. The second step in my visualization process is to see myself performing the task. I see myself being successful at whatever I am planning on doing. I visualize the small tasks that help me complete the bigger task. I also see myself being motivated throughout the process. I know that I will feel confident and motivated. This second step makes me see that I can reach my goal and gives me motivation to work toward that goal.
  3. The third and last step in my visualization process is imagining that I have reached my goal. I try to feel all the feelings associated with meeting that goal. I imagine being and feeling successful, proud, confident, and motivated. This third step creates positive and powerful vibrations that tell the universe that I want to feel motivated to complete my goal.

This entire process tells the universe why you want to be motivated. You want to feel motivated to reach all of your goals. You know you will feel successful and proud of yourself after meeting these goals and the universe will reward all of your hopeful and positive thoughts by giving you motivation.

This exercise has really helped me in attracting motivation into my life. When I first started doing this exercise, sometimes it would take me a few days to get motivation for a small task or a couple of weeks to get motivation for a big task. Now, I can attract motivation instantly using the Law of Attraction. I use my positive thoughts and energy to attract the motivation I need to meet my goals. I have mastered the incorporation of motivation into my life in relation to the Law of Attraction.

Increase Energy with the Law of Attraction

I bet if I asked 10 people if they wanted more energy in their lives, 9 out of 10 would say they wish they had more energy. We all live very hectic lives with work, family, and friends; it can be difficult juggling it all and have the energy to get everything done.

One of the main reasons why people lack energy is because stress is in the way. Stress zaps all energy out of your body, leaving you unable to accomplish short-term and long-term goals. Stress occurs due to negative thoughts and feelings about different aspects of your life such as money, career, relationships, and time management.

The idea with the Law of Attraction is that you can get rid of stress and attract energy instead. This process is actually very easy because as soon as you work on getting rid of the stress, the universe will take notice and start rewarding you with energy.

The first step to take is to be aware of when you are stressed. Be aware of when you have negative thoughts and feelings and what it relates to. The second step is to change those negative thoughts into positive thoughts. This process will create positive vibrations for the universe. Next, you must ask for more energy in your life and allow it into your life.

Making just simple changes such as changing your outlook on life can have a dramatic effect. The Law of Attraction is all about making positive changes in your life and attracting wonderful things into your life. With simple changes you can attract amazing things included unlimited amounts of energy.

An exercise you can incorporate into your life is imagining your life with more energy. Imagine what it would feel like to have more energy and all the things you would accomplish. This is an important exercise to incorporate into your life because positive visualizations about having energy will help you attract energy into your life.

Realize that you can attract energy quickly and easily with the Law of Attraction. Simply ask for it and make some positive changes in your life. This will help reduce stress and increase energy. You can and will have the energy you need with the Law of Attraction.

Attracting Perfect Health: Part II

My previous blog post was on the topic of obtaining perfect health through the Law of Attraction. I focused mainly on eating right. Another major aspect of achieving perfect and radiant health with the Law of Attraction is exercise.

I believe strongly that everyone should aim to incorporate a regular exercise routine into their lives. According to the American College of Sports Medicine and the American Heart Association, they suggest the following workout program:

Do moderately intense cardio 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week.
Or
Do vigorously intense cardio 20 minutes a day, 3 days a week.
And
Do 8 to 10 strength-training exercises, 8 to 12 repetitions of each exercise twice a week.

Many people know they should follow these guidelines, but it can be difficult changing your lifestyle. When talking to friends, family, and customers I have found that two of the main reasons people do not consistently exercise is that they either do not think they have time or lack the motivation to keep up with it.

This is where the Law of Attraction comes in. When wanting to incorporate an exercise routine, it is important to ask for the things that will help you get into exercising. You will want to ask for motivation, energy, and time. The next thing to do is to make it happen.

The best thing you can do to promote a healthy lifestyle is to start exercising. Take it one week at a time. Start slow and easy and over time you will notice that it gets easier. Make time 3-5 times a week for 20-30 minutes a day. Every time you exercise, you are creating positive vibrations for the universe. You are telling the universe that you want to be healthy. You are telling the universe that you want to feel good!

Remember, not exercising creates negative thoughts and feelings. People tend to get down on themselves when they miss a workout or are leading a sedentary life. So when you commit to leading a healthy lifestyle and begin working out, it is important that you stick with it. Ask the universe to give you the motivation and energy to get out there and work out! The more consistently your workouts, the easier it will get. The Law of Attraction is a very powerful tool to use with your exercise program and will help you achieve perfect health.

The Law of Attraction and Financial Freedom

Financial freedom

With the current economy, one of the hottest topics right now is wealth and how to get it. I cannot stress how important it is for you to focus on success, opportunities, and wealth rather than the negativity you see and hear in the media. The Law of Attraction is all about focusing on the positive. No matter what the state of the current economy, there are ALWAYS opportunities. Did you know that more millionaires were created during The Great Depression than in any other time in United States history? This is true.

You need to ask the universe for specific opportunities. You can ask for new business opportunities, new investment opportunities, and new income opportunities. You should be as specific as possible when asking for what you want. This is an essential part of the process. The goal in the Law of Attraction is change. You want something different from your current lifestyle and status.

When I talk with my hypnosis clients and customers I see all sorts of different goals. Some people want to get out of debt, some want to make more yearly income, and some want to invest in big money-making efforts. What I stress is the importance of making changes. In order to use the Law of Attraction to your advantage you have to take action. Every time you take action, the universe notices and you move one step closer to accomplishing your goal using the Law of Attraction.

You must first figure out what you want from the universe involving financial freedom and then focus on what needs to change in order to become financially secure. There are a lot of powerful techniques you can use to attract wealth into your life. Before Jack Canfield wrote Chicken Soup for the Soul, he decided he wanted to make $100,000 in one year. He wrote down that number and made a point of looking at it and focusing on it everyday. We all know how successful he has become.

I also like the idea of adding zeros to your bank statement or writing a check made out to you for a million dollars. The more often you think about being a wealthy and financially secure person, the sooner the Law of Attraction will start working for you.

Also, it is very important to focus on the positive. Get rid of all negative thoughts related to a downturn in the economy. You do not want to focus on money you have lost or how much debt you have. This will only create negative vibrations. You want to focus on the future and the great opportunities that are on the way. The Law of Attraction can and will bring you the financial freedom you are seeking.

Attracting Perfect Health

For years, Steve and I have been using the Law of Attraction to attract a healthy lifestyle. We both believe that living a healthy lifestyle helps attract perfect health. For me personally, perfect health means having optimal blood pressure, healthy cholesterol levels, being free of disease, and very rarely getting the flu or colds.

I have found that putting healthy foods in my body helps me feel good and full of energy in the short-term and helps me boost my immune system in the long-term. The two best things you can do to attract health into your life is eating right and exercising. Every time you put something healthy into your body, you are showing the universe that you respect your body and you want to be healthy. The universe will continue to reward your healthy eating habits by keeping you healthy and away from the doctor.

Eating junk food and high-fat foods has the opposite effect. Having an unhealthy diet can cause heart disease and strokes in the long-term. In the short term, eating the wrong foods can leave you feeling lethargic and weaken your immune system and make you more susceptible to sickness.

Fortunately, this is reversible. You can easily start incorporating a healthy lifestyle and start attracting perfect health with the Law of Attraction. You can start by buying the right foods at the grocery store. Spending time thinking about healthy meals and making the healthy meals is part of the Law of Attraction process. As you are making the meal you are realizing how good these foods are for your body and how they will have a healing effect.

Many people I have talked to feel that they cannot change their eating habits, because they have been eating badly their entire life. I encourage people to start making small changes immediately and overtime they are able to completely overhaul their eating habits. The reward is so much more than what you are giving up. You are giving up toxic food that causes your body and mind to slowly deteriorate and you are replacing it with nutritious and energy-yielding food.

People who change what they eat find that the Law of Attraction rewards them in numerous ways. They feel better about themselves. They see physical changes in their skin, weight, and energy levels. The Law of Attraction continues to reward them with perfect and radiant health.

If you want perfect health, then I encourage you to make just one change today. Replace a bowl of ice cream with a few large strawberries. Or replace potato chips with a baked or sweet potato. Every change you make, no matter how big or small, tells the universe that you care about your body and you want to attract perfect and radiant health.

Our Challenge to You

Challenges Ahead

The idea of the Law of Attraction has been around for thousands of years. It has evolved since ancient times and is now extremely popular due to The Secret. When my co-author Frank Mangano and I first watched The Secret, we were inspired like so many other people. We realized that to some extent we were already using the Law of Attraction. We have always believed in the power of positive thinking. Being a hypnotherapist and Frank a health advocate, we see the value in visualization and re-working both conscious and subconscious thoughts.

For years we have been focused on goals, picturing what our lives would be like when achieving these goals. We have always done this whether my goal was getting a masters degree or having a successful hypnosis practice or Frank’s goal was to improve the lives of crowds of people. We feel like we have always been incorporating the Law of Attraction into our lives, but in the past five years we have realized that we can take the Law of Attraction to a whole new level.

The most powerful concept that we have learned is that the Law of Attraction can be applied to everything in life. At first, this concept was kind of overwhelming because when you think about all the different areas in your life you would like to improve, the list can be daunting: relationships, career, wealth, happiness, and health; this is just the tip of the iceberg.

A common question that many people ask themselves when incorporating the Law of Attraction into their lives is: Where do I start? A lot of people decide to start focusing on wealth because once the money starts rolling in, they assume other things will begin to improve. We think this is where a lot of people get stuck. They focus on attracting wealth into their lives. They write themselves a fake check for a large sum of money or add a bunch of zeroes to the end of their bank statement. These are great techniques that Frank and I do suggest using, but to truly welcome the Law of Attraction into your life, you have to change your way of thinking first and foremost.

The Law of Attraction is  like a lifestyle change. Actually it is a lifestyle change! You will want to incorporate the Law of Attraction for the rest of your life. It is a new way of thinking and going about your daily life. When you figure out how to get the Law of Attraction to work for you, it is empowering. It will change your entire outlook on your life.

Your thoughts are at the very foundation of who you are. The whole idea behind the Law of Attraction is that you can create positive things in your life by having positive thoughts. And the great thing about it is that it works! At the very core of the Law of Attraction are your thoughts. We want to challenge you to be more aware of your conscious thoughts. Until our next blog post, we want you to become more aware of the thoughts that go through your head. We do not want you to focus on changing anything yet. Just be aware of whether your thoughts are positive, negative, or neutral. Try to get an idea of what percentage of your thoughts are positive versus negative. Hopefully this will be an eye-opening experience for you.
